I don’t think I’d mind if I never left home again – as long as I got to curl up in my cozy multipurpose room.
For quite some time now, I’d felt as though my office no longer suited my taste. It was stark white with accents of rose gold and pink. It had abstract art and the emphasis was on fashion. Ever since my blog’s transition to “cozy lifestyle” – and the pandemic (which has turned me into a homebody monster) – I’ve realized that I needed a space that catered to those cozy desires.
I started scheming up some ideas and I originally wanted the theme to incorporate elements of blues and greens like the rest of my home. However, I quickly realized that I was much more drawn to neutrals and browns. These tones made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Not only that, but if I wanted to take at-home photos for my blog or bookstagram, having these colors available to me in my primary space made things much easier.
I’ve taken to calling this multipurpose room my “clofbrary” (closet + office + library). Of course, this is a bit of a goofy nickname that stemmed from the original title of “cloffice” (closet + office), but nonetheless, it has stuck and I think it quite suits the space. I’ll be sharing a little bit about each portion of this room and how it promotes a cozy lifestyle.

At the end of my workday, you’ll find me in this armchair, wrapped up in the blanket, either scrolling through Instagram or reading a book.
I’ve only just begun to really collect books. I’ve been a proud frequenter of the library since I was a little girl and I don’t see that changing any time soon. You won’t catch me purchasing a book until I’ve already borrowed it from the library, read it, loved it, and I’m certain I’ll read it again. Because of that money-saving habit, my bookshelves are pretty sparse. However, they’re beginning to grow – and for the time being, my candles and knickknacks fill up the empty spaces. Above the armchair, I’ve added the most beautiful prints from 88 Prints – a shop I found through bookstagram that I absolutely adore! They offer the coziest art (including an entire Gilmore Girls collection)!

I didn’t want to fully erase the fashion part of my space, so this corner is made for outfit-planning, try-on hauls, and more.
This is the most unfinished part of the room. I still have hopes to hang prints above the wardrobe rack, I’d like to put a faux plant or pampas grass next to the mirror, and the cube shelves will be revitalized with some storage boxes and different decor soon. For now, it’s where I get ready in the morning and I love that Luna can rest by the window!

Last, but certainly not least – where all the She Saw Style magic happens: the office.
This is where you’ll find me for at least 8-12 hours on any given day. I created an inspirational (and caffeinated) gallery wall above my desk with the help of Desenio. I’ve now worked with them on three gallery walls in my home and I can’t recommend them enough. I love their wide selection of affordable prints and beautiful frames. Ever since this transformation, I’ve had a stronger desire to spend time in this room and at my desk, resulting in higher productivity. Sometimes all it takes is a little redecorating!
