This post is in partnership with The Shinn Life and I received free product to share with you. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the companies that support She Saw Style.

#WeddingWednesday: How I Asked My Bridesmaids

Welcome to the first post in my #WeddingWednesday series!  I’m so excited to begin sharing my journey with all of you and chatting about all the good, bad, and ugly that wedding planning involves.  Today there will be no bad or ugly, though – only good and absolutely beautiful!  I’m going to be chatting about how I asked my bridesmaids!

If you follow me on Instagram (which you should do right now … shameless plug), you may have caught my excited boomerangs each time I asked one of my best friends to be in the wedding.  You may have even noticed something sparkly that they were holding.  That, my friends, was a pair of absolutely stunning, rose gold-plated, blush pink druzy earrings, handcrafted by Brittany of The Shinn Life.

The Shinn Life was one of the first brands I worked with when I launched my blog.  Brittany sent me two pairs of her gorgeous druzy earrings (in blush and white), and I was hooked.  To this day, I still wear them multiple times each week, and I even purchased a pair for my mom to wear because she loved mine so much.  Brittany has always been a huge supporter of She Saw Style, and I can easily say the feeling is mutual.  I knew the moment I got engaged that I wanted to use her earrings to ask my bridesmaids … so that’s exactly what I did!

The Shinn Life offers custom bridal boxes.  You get to choose the color of the earrings, whether they’re bezeled or not, the quote on the card, and the name of your bridesmaid or maid of honor!  It gets even better: each adorable pink box comes with a shiny gold ribbon and marbleized wax seal.  I think the coolest thing for me was that even though the “S” seal on the box is supposed to stand for “Shinn,” it also doubled for “Stephanie” and all my bridesmaids thought it was so neat!

Brittany not only sent me the six, custom bridesmaid boxes I requested, but was sweet enough to include a surprise box just for me!  Inside were two pairs of the 8mm mini druzies, and I just know they will be perfect for my wedding day!  Seeing each of my best friends open their boxes was so special.  Their eyes widened in wonder and I could tell that they were so impressed by the personalized message and beautiful earrings inside.  It made me so glad that I chose The Shinn Life for this monumental occasion.  I can’t wait to share how each bridesmaid looks wearing her earrings on the big day!

Not only are these earrings excellent for bridesmaids gifts, but they also make fantastic Valentine’s (or Galentine’s) gifts.  If you’re not interested in earrings, The Shinn Life offers bobby pins, bracelets, necklaces, and more!  And if you don’t love the faux druzy look, you can choose from an array of other styles as well.  I’ve been eyeing their mermaid earrings for quite some time.  Make sure to check out their shop!

If you are a bride-to-be or have gotten married already, tell me how you asked your bridesmaids to stand by you on your wedding day!
