“How do you spell ‘love’?” – Piglet, “You don’t spell it, you feel it!” – Pooh. I think that adorable quote perfectly describes my relationship with this handsome fellow. You may have seen his fashion debut on She Saw Style this past Friday, but he was also wonderful enough to join me for a fun couple’s shoot. Honestly this turned into such a fun adventure through one of my favorite parks in Richmond. My mom followed us around with a camera, and we got to act stupid, kiss a bunch, and just have a blast together while enjoying one of the prettiest days I’ve seen in months. These photos were taken the day after my birthday, and let me tell you, I was on cloud nine. Spring had sprung, my man was by my side, and I was wearing the happiest floral dress in my wardrobe. Brandon and I may be long distance, but I can promise you that we are never short on love whether it’s in person or a thousand miles apart. These photos perfectly captured that, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do!
This boy certainly knows one of the many ways to my heart is through a good shopping excursion. The last time I visited him, we found this super cool graphic sweatshirt for him at Forever 21. I was so sad when I found out that they no longer sell it online, but you can shop this post for some similar items. He paired it with some comfy black slim-fit pants and his new favorite shoes that I gave to him as a Valentine’s Day gift (major girlfriend points, if I do say so myself). Each time I made a Target trip recently, I passed this dress and sighed with desire. When my birthday weekend came around, I knew I had to snatch it up. I was so worried when I went to the store and couldn’t find it anywhere. Crazy enough, it was the last one left in my size on a sale rack! Happy birthday to me! I love the fun and flirty flowing shape with the adorable lace-up neckline. Just right for a romantic walk in the park.
One of the things that makes me the happiest about our relationship is how much fun we love to have together. I never laugh and smile more than when I’m around this boy. He’s the type of person to just start dancing in the middle of a store, dip me for a kiss while we’re walking to the car, or make goofy faces at me while we’re Skyping just because he knows it will make my day. He is one of the biggest supporters of this blog (the guy even bought me my theme before we were actually a couple – he likes me that much), and it’s been amazing including him on here recently. I look forward to many more fun shoots together and who knows, maybe he will decide he likes it so much and become a style blogger himself! That would be the day!
