Alright babes, the recent theme here on She Saw Style has been shopping local. I’ve featured several RVA-native brands in the past couple of weeks, and they’ve been leading up to this post. For my local readers, this is a guide that will help you shop small and support some of your fellow Richmonders this holiday season. For those of you who do not live in this beautiful city I’m lucky to call home, fear not – all of these brands ship within the US, so you can still take advantage of their deals and get some great gifts for your friends and family!
Brandon and I were quite excited to receive these fun coffee (or should I say “covfefe”) mugs from Guy Piper. The owner, Marion, sells the best novelty mugs ever, and also offers tote bags, scarves, and several other unique gifts! I’m eyeing the Frida Kahlo mug for a friend of mine this Christmas!
If you’re interested in reading an entire post I wrote up about SpringerMade click here! This company, run by bossbabe Catherine, has such a great selection of holiday-themed gifts. If you’re like me, receiving Christmas-related gifts around Christmas is the best, even if they need to wait until the following year to be used!
Monday’s post featured the most fantastic moto jacket sold at TAILOR. One of the coolest things about this shop is that Taylor, the owner, offers in-home trunk shows. So invite your girlfriends, grab some wine, and enjoy a fun night of trying on clothes and getting pampered! A trunk show would also make a fantastic and totally unexpected gift!
B-Hive Creations is owned by Richmond girlboss, Ina, and she features some of the most beautiful designer bag dupes. I picked up the black Chloé Nile look-alike featured in this post, and I was absolutely stunned by the incredible quality. I have admired the original bag for quite some time and was excited to get my hands on such a similar item! For any of the luxury-loving ladies in your life, this would be an excellent place to shop and still save money!
I was so glad when Gabi of Bright Body reached out to me and allowed me to try one of her skincare products. She’s a fellow spoonie (someone who suffers from a chronic illness), so we connected right away through our email thread. She offers not only all-natural skincare options, but haircare as well, and everything is vegan and cruelty-free. If you have sensitive skin like me, this is a great option!
Thank you to all the brands that contacted me for this gift guide. It was such a pleasure surrounding myself with all you fantastic RVA babes during this holiday season. It’s amazing how shopping local and discovering such great small businesses can inspire! I have never felt more connected to my city than in the past few weeks!
