Queue Titanic‘s Rose stating “It’s been 84 years…”
Truly, this January has gone on forever. I know I’m not the only person feeling this way. There’s something about the last couple months of winter that make it drag on for ages. In actuality, I love winter. I much prefer it over the heat of summer (I know, I know – controversial opinion alert). However, the frigid, endless rain we’ve been experiencing in RVA has me itching for spring, big-time!
The good thing about this first month of 2019 has been all of the new products, places, and more that have been introduced to me.
Fashion // clothing, accessories, + more
This sweater is so nice I got it twice – and ya’ll loved it so much it became the subject of one of my top read posts for the month!
This coat is coming to the blog soon, but it’s already getting tons of love on my Instagram. The quilted lining keeps you super warm and the chic print is perfect for every occasion.
These shoes have been on my wishlist for years and now that I own them, I never want to take them off!
Beauty // makeup, skincare, + hair
You know a product is good when, after a month of not using it, you splurge to buy it because you notice such a huge difference without it. Grab this moisturizer right away.
This setting spray is only $8 and while completely transform your makeup. It really helps all powdered products set into the skin, and any liquid products flawlessly blend together.
Home // townhome + furniture
My husband and I love our new townhome and furnishing it has been quite an adventure. This print company makes such affordable art that transforms your space. Be on the lookout for a full blog post soon.
Small space? This pub set will be your best friend. It’s a dining table & bar/coffee cart all wrapped into one. Plus the chairs actually have backs!
This rug has gotten so many compliments that I never want to change it out. It’s also incredibly affordable for such a large piece.
Entertainment // books, music, movies, + TV
I’m almost done with “Harry Potter” and will begin checking off books on this list very soon.
Brandon and I just caught up on Brooklyn Nine-Nine and began Parks & Recreation.
Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse was a really great movie with an equally fantastic soundtrack.
On repeat currently: The Pains of Growing album by Alessia Cara, Praise Before My Breakthrough album by Bryan & Katie Torwalt, and the song Let Me Down Slowly by Alec Benjamin.
